QQ big MTT, late stage, difficult flop
this is a 10-handed game late in the tournament.
48 players left in the tournament, 36 places paid but only top10 worth getting into. small blind 500 big blind 1000 ante 100 (with 10 players) so the pot from the start is 2500 UTG (30 000 ) limps Hero (25 000) (Qh Qd) raises 5000 MP (40 000) calls. UTG calls Pot: about 20 000 Flop: Ks Jc 6c UTG: check Hero (20 000) bet 10 000 MP fold UTG ; cr all in (has hero covered) What would you say about this hand as it was played, preflop and on the flop, and how would you have played it, if differently? Please tell me what you think of it. villain (uTG) seems to be an ok player at least, since it's late in the tournament, he has a big stack and we know him a little from live play in a local club, however this is online and we don't have any specific reads. |

[/ QUOTE ] If u don't have a read on his postflop tendencies, specifically how he will play a draw in a raised pot, then u should be checking this flop, unless u intend to call a c/r. U start the hand with only 25K, so any flop bet committs u. I'd raise to 4K pre also. |

Re: QQ big MTT, late stage, difficult flop
Either check behind on flop or open shove.
At this point, you have no choice but to call off the rest of your stack. |
