The company I work for does not have "titles", so I've basically been doing the same thing for the past 10 years.

I was commission only as a futures broker, and the unemployment checks were running out as I was starting up my business. So, I worked as a bartender to supplement my income. I was busto after a year, and had to find a real job.

Actually, the worst stories are from Vietnam, spending two 6mos. tours with a 'CIA run outfit'. I'm really happy that I am not on the streets begging for a dollar or two for my next drink. Its really sad that there are so many Vietnam Vets homeless etc etc. And sadder yet, we ain't doing a good job with the Iraq vets either. You would think we would learn but noooooooo! Its just a crying shame.

suzzler,

You are late 30s, right? Over the 25 years of employment you've had 30+ jobs? Do you get fired a lot or are you restless, or were you doing some concurrently? That's a hell of a long resume just listing the job titles.

[/ QUOTE ]

There's a lot more than that actually. I lumped all the temp gigs into one. Many of those jobs were like 6 weeks for the summer or temp or something. Also I've had two jobs at once for long periods.
