gary is a close friend of mine, and i'll be the first to say this description isnt accurate. he's not very tight; rather, he's just very solid, and adjusts his game accordingly.

he told me about the big hands this weekend from his perspective too, so whatever I say is kinda biased, but i would prefer a call on the turn to a push almost always vs him.

This would be a lot better with smaller stacks (maybe 5k?), but seeing how deep you are, his c/r gives you a very easy call to try and hit on river.

i know it's hard for some of you to believe i wasn't playing nitty, but i've definitely loosened up my game since i last played with most of you. however, i have been showing down winners almost the whole night and cornell definitely views me as solid. i agree that i don't really like this push with stacks of this size, i think calling the turn c/r and re-eval the river seems like the best line against me
