You will see this *very* briefly when you power up the computer, or printed on the cards if you look inside the case.

Dual-Link DVI was not universally standard until the 8xxx range of cards. IIRC Some 7800GTX have it, some don't. Need to check manufacturer specifications.

Worst case scenario, you have to spring an extra ~$60 for an 8500 card.. but I'm sure you'd rather know this before taking delivery of a shiny new 30"
