NL400 - QQ vs. unknown, get away from it at any point?
NL400 6-handed
Villain has $600 and covers me. I've seen him occasionally play 1/2 and 2/4 but mostly tournaments. No real experience vs. him. His bet reallllly looked like AK on the flop but feels like folding sucks on flop, but calling is unacceptable. Fold flop or standard play? Villain raises to $16, MP calls, CO calls, Hero raises to $68, SB folds, BB folds, Villain raises to $142, MP folds, CO folds, Hero calls. Flop J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain bets $160, Hero raises to $398 and is all-in, Villain calls. Just push or fold pre!? I really don't see the merit in calling.

[/ QUOTE ] Uh, there are a good amount of differences in this hand: - stakes - Villain is unknown, not a 54/25 - Deeper stacks - Don't think I'm committed on that flop, I can fold or shove (if I called I would have been committed) If he was a maniac like that hand, I have no problem shoving and flipping vs. AK or dominating underpairs. |
