from like a week ago

some idiot(s) limp I limp JsTc in the CO button limps. Flop Ts9sXx some stuff happens. Turn 6s, EP bets out, I raise, button coldcalls, EP 3 bets, I call cause I hate money, button calls. River blank, somehow checked around. EP shows 5s4s. Button slams his cards down and they fly into the board, he has 6s3s and wins the monies as 6s3s beats 5s4s on a Ts9sXx2sXx board.

Yes you read that right.

And you kept your mouth shut, instead of letting cards speak, even if placed incorrectly?

Maliant: I am reading this as to saying that he had 3s2s, and when he slammed them into the board, the 6s was replaced by the 2s, and the 6s went into his hand, transforming his losing flush to the winning flush...

some really tough players play 60, super tough game. i want to share with you all how tough the game can be.

bb who is an old guy who plays every hand limps utg, asian man who is terrible limps, maybe some others of teh limp limp.

the flop is 4c3cTh. check, bet, call. heads up.

the turn is 8s. check, bet, call.

the river pairs the 3. check, bet, call.

the asian guy turns over Jc9c and says i missed everything. the old man exclaims "i knew he was bluffing!" and slams down triumphantly 5c2c for the nut low. problem is were playing limit hold em hi.

when the rest of the table explained to him over and over how even though he caught the guy bluffing he still had nothing and wouldnt get the pot, he didnt seem to care. he just laughed and said "i caught him. i knew he was bluffing, i knew it. he missed his flush." he was quite proud of himself for his excellent read.

I believe this is the fabled -1 level of poker. While the tragic hero was exerting his effort into putting his opponent on a hand (a bluff) he neglected to put himself on a hand and wound up calling with the 5 high.

OMG I'm so happy I finally read this thread after not winning a hand for the last four hours.

I can't wait till I'm in LA suffering bad beats like these. It will be heaven.

Sailboats and PJ, missing the Commerce on a Friday night is criminal...just criminal.

Classic hand from Friday night 20:

For the 20 regulars:

Villain1 is KK, the Korean math teacher
Villain2 is Rich Old Dude with Money to Burn

UTG calls, Villain1 raises, all call to Villain to who 3-bets, SB caps...all call. 9-way capped to see a flop of

9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villain1 bets, one call, Villain2 raises, SB calls, Villain1 3-bets, another call, Villain2 says " you got a nine huh?" and caps, SB calls, Villain1 calls.

Turn: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Villain1 bets, Villain2 raises, SB calls, Villain1 3-bets, Villain2 calls saying "you got that goddamn 9 don't you?", SB calls.

River: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Villain1 bets, both call. Villain1 tables 97 soooted to scoop the 38 BB pot.

Villain2 bypasses monkey, chimpanzee and orangutan tilt and proceeds straight to gorilla tilt and dumps 2 racks in the next 3 orbits.

You just can't get that kind of entertainment for free anywhere else.
