Default 50NL: Turn trips, weak kicker

Villain is unknown, but he seems relatively tight so far. Only thing I've noticed is that he opened T9o from the CO, cbet his flopped MP v. one opponent, and then checked it down to lose to TP. Meh.

This just seems like a huge stack-a-donk spot, but I ran my timer down making my decision.

Thats such a strange line by villain. I really think your hand might be good, but I'd know better if I had seen villain getting out of line before.

He is too likely to do this with AKsuited (hearts or diamonds) or an overpair for you to fold I think.

Man, I really see trouble here.. but in no way is this an easy fold.

It seems every time i look this up its 77/33/aj/kj/qj

If he's opening up 109o from the CO, is KJ/QJ in his line here too?

How hard is it to lay this down, lose the $10 and get some reads on him for later play?

After lookin at it for 5 minutes, I think its a fold.

So he's flat calling AA-QQ pf? Or AKs, and then donking it on the flop? I dunno, I just don't see that happening very often.

weak lead on the flop means I am suspicious. I could see a weaker J here a fair bit (he called a raise from the BB). Sets are certainly possible too. I'm trying to see a draw that this could be, maybe Ad7d or something? this is a pretty tough spot, but I probably stack off. FWIW I don't expect to see KJ or AJ here.

I probably raise flop to 10.

Tough decision on turn, probably fold.

Phew, I really can't see that TBH.

In terms of ranges for us to be good here, we have to believe villain calls pf with {J2, J4, J5, J6, J8, J8, QQ, KK, AA} and then c/r jams us on turn with one of those hands.

I don't like our chances of that being the case here.

33/77 here IMO. Probably the best way at the micros to stack villains is for a boat to stack big trips. Works nearly every time in my expericence.

Fwiw, I call here at the table a LOT, which I'm sure is bad.
