Right now it is still a war of rumors, both sided jockeying for position.

Aside from some fan skylarking about Butch Davis, no names have been floated yet that I've seen.

A couple of things...

1. Who is Arky looking at as their next HC?

[/ QUOTE ]

Fran? LOL.

2. Assuming Miles takes the Michigan job, who would LSU go after? Petrino?

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL. Come on, be serious. Tubby maybe? Though I've heard he's a lock for the A&M job. Either way, he wants out of AU.

3. I think the Iron Bowl is going to come down to which team's QB doesn't lose it for them.

[/ QUOTE ]

This sounds about right.

It sounds bizarre as far as predictions go, but I get the Alabama/Auburn game will either be an Auburn blowout (21+) or very close victory (<7) by either team.

Why does Tubby want to leave AU?

A&M can pay him a lot more than we can.. and some AU people still think he has some sort of resentment over the whole Jetgate incident from 2003. I wouldn't blame him if he left, but I really hope he stays.

I'm confused.. do you think I'm ridiculous for implying that Miles would take the Michigan job if offered or that Petrino would leave the Falcons to come back to the college game?

Don't forget that if Fulmer stumbles this weekend or badly in a bowl game, Tennessee might be looking as well.

I've heard rumors Arkansas is looking at David Cutcliffe.

I don't know if Cutcliffe recruits well enough to get another SEC head coaching gig... I think Arkansas will be looking at bigger names and will open up the checkbook to land one.

Auburn is such a dump, I wish we had homeless people everywhere like they do in Athens.
