You can set your status to 'appear offline' and still chat. It's weird.

you can still somehow see wether they are in offline mode or really offline. That sucks, when your trying to hide from pple and they start talking to you haha.

I hate when people hide all day and then start talking to me. It's like only they can decide if we should have a conversation or not. I think it's rude.

I've used MSN for a looooong time and you can appear offline but chat to anyone you want to but the people that aren't talking to you can't see that you're online.
