This is hardly a blind battle. Just because many of the better players make somewhat fancy plays, with reasoning of 'well, he knows I'm late position, and that I could be stealing, therefore he's turning up the heat, knowing that I have a big range, therefore I'll resteal knowing that his range is pretty wide.' The average ABC nit would reason 'well, he's just made a big re-raise, so he likes his hand. Let's see if I can get all-in now when I'm know I have the best hand, and that way I'm charging him to see the flop.

I guess it depends on table dynamics. Does he know you 3-bet light in the BB? Have you been 3-betting him at all in the session? Could he be tilting? Have you seen him 4-bet before? Has he ever gotten out of line when making big bets?

Stats are stats, I've seen nitty players make the strangest plays you wouldn't believe. 3-betting me with 95s or pushing preflop with KJo. It happens and you just have to know when your opponent is off his game.

So like others said, you probably know better than us if folding was correct. NH.

I gotta side with you on this one flytrap. It seems to me that you started this thread to get some sort of discussion / evaluation of the situation and were greeted with a response of "LDO KK=teh nutz, u=nit lol". I dont think you can be blamed for asking a question and then disagreeing with some of the responses, especially when the responses run counter to your experience and common sense.

Mr Donktastic: I dont know what youre stats are but Im assuming you have a pretty LAG table image. You probably get people coming over the top of you with junk all the time. This isnt true of everybody. Also, the kind of aggressive play you experience at NL200 (or wherever) isnt found at the lower limits.

So, yeah, maybe people shouldnt ALWAYS be mocked for the idea of mucking KK pf.

and seriously, check your DB, how many times have you won an all in pf with Kings or Queens or AK, against someone with a decent sized stack and decent numbers (yes, i saw that you posted one)
