Re: NL100. I 3-bet KK and get AI rr\'d. Is this ever not aces?
[ QUOTE ]
He could easily have AK. Folding would be awful. Lock plz. [/ QUOTE ] Care to post some hands from your pokertracker where this situation, against an opponent with those stats came up, and they had AK? Or maybe the percentage of times you got all in for 100bbs PF with KK against an opponent with stats like this, and they didn't have AA? Basically, you guys are saying always go broke with KK against tight players? Keep in mind, I have 2 of the kings, so that somewhat diminishes the AK chances. |

Well, given your hand there are 6 combos of AA, 6 combos of QQ, and 8 combos of AK.

Don't ever fold KK in a steal/resteal situation. Or QQ. Or AK.

Re: NL100. I 3-bet KK and get AI rr\'d. Is this ever not aces?
Im starting to come around on this. I think that if villains stats are in line, then folding pf COULD be correct. What was his AF? If it was less than 2 then I think you can officially sign me up for a fold.
BTW, looks like Ive gotten it all in pf 4 times with KK. Once against QQ, once against AK, and twice against AA. All of the times that I won I had very few hands against my opponent. |

Re: NL100. I 3-bet KK and get AI rr\'d. Is this ever not aces?
This is appropriate once again. Its my new automated reesponse. wtf is up with these threads? This definitely deserves a ban more than whatever pete said in the shortstacking thread.
Also, if you want to fold then go ahead and fold it, just don't make a [censored] thread about it. You should know if its a good fold or not pretty much right away. I folded KK preflop one time and I happened to have a friend sweating me at the time. It was to a 3bet, not even a 4bet and I know for a fact that he had aces (since it was pumuckel and he limped UTG then RR to $48 after I raised to $10 in MP). I didn't even think about it and showed a friend the hh and he agreed that it was AA like 90% of the time. |
