He only has like $11 left. It could too often be 88 or 99 waiting to see a non scary turn card fall. Given the EP limp/call those hands make more sense than some random suited hand. Is he the type to limp big suited aces or KQs?

I don't expect you to be good here but you have too much equity vs his range to fold at this point.

IMO if this is the flush it is the nut flush. Low flushes don't usually check twice cuz they are scared of the 4th club coming out.

What does that mean?

The range of hands that beats you is smaller than you think.

Youre good here more often than youre not. Folding is way too weak so push.
