folded to me w/ ajo in sb. villain is a typical 30/20 tag. i open and he calls. flop is 478r. i bet he calls. turn is a 9, completing the rainbow. check/call? bet/call? bet/fold? if you call on turn, what rivers (if any) will you call ui? will you get cute on any rivers?

The lines I would choose from here are:

1) Check/call turn, check/fold river UI
2) Check/call turn, check/call river UI
3) Bet/call turn, check/fold river UI
4) Bet turn dont get raised and either check/call riv or check/fold UI.

Which line is best? The truth is I dont think it matters. When youre out of position to a good aggressive opponent, your [censored] no matter what line you take here. There is no way out of this mess. This is just one of those spots in poker where youre going to get ass-raped no matter what you do. I wouldnt worry too much about these spots, everyone has to face these situations where all their options sux. Just take it like a man and move on to the next hand.

I'm not a big fan of b/c c/f as a turn river line here. A lot hand can be semi bluffing here. I check/call twice a lot here, especially since i found myself getting pwnd by turn raises a lot.

facing a turn raise here sucks big time, but then again, if we go to k/call mode, every douche start value betting their K4o and such.

So, 2 big bets is the cost in any case here, you just have to pick a line.
I think mixing k/calling and betting turn and river is somewhat optimal in this case.

Facing a raise on turn in this spot means opponent is holding a top pair with a good/medium kicker.
Calling a raise on turn can get you two things.
1) free showdown if scary card comes (A, K, Q, J, T, any overcard to his TP or even paired board might get you free SD);
small percentage of time villain not firing again, getting a feeling he's beaten obv. coz you called turn bet (your statement is you cant bluff me off of this hand/pot)
2) you still have 6 outs to improve to his turn raise A, J clearly good thus calling is ok

We just need to call down with second/third pair (let him bet our hand for us) and also check/raise the turn a fair amount with strenght to balance out the times he takes us to valuetown.
