nick,

As I said in that thread, I would love to have a playground as the golf forum. I posted a catch thread in ElDF, but would love to have a playground after the gym (which I think is a great playground that should be made into a long lasting forum)

might be a fun playground but not much chance it would succeed as a standalone forum.

speaking of standalone forums, i think the gym should become one (but renamed to health and fitness)

I wanted to give the Gym another week or two to see if traffic would improve, but since we're doing this now:

The users of 2+2 have spoken, and the word is a big thumbs down on the Gym.

Yah I always thought Sunday morning stats are the best kind.

What's your opinion on CTH then?

I eagerly anticipate the monthly post count for both forums. Prop bet on CTH v The Gym on most posts?

Instead of making a whole bunch of little forums, which won't get much traffic, why can't we make one forum, which would incorporate these things, and maybe get some more traffic?

Like an "Active Lifestyle" forum. Which could include the gym, golf, travel, etc. Sky is the limit. Active being a key word.

Here

The Gym had 80 posts/day this month, which is better than I expected. Nick pointed out there that a lot of that is OOT threads being moved over and there was an initial flurry of traffic when it opened. But 80 posts/day is good enough to warrant another month in the Playground to see if it pans out.

And I would have lost a bet. I'm a prop bet fish.
