Default 4.40/180 Stars I\'m 2nd or 3rd out of 13, AT

I haven't played with the other big stack villain. Any thoughts? I figure most villains reraise with QQ+, maybe AK. I think my biggest mistake was just calling the shortie AI reraise. I froze up because the other big stack was involved. What do I do on the turn, the pot is huge. Against an unknown this low villain could have:
QQ, JJ-possible but i think he'd raise the flop
TT-possible but then i have the case T
33-I don't think so
A3- maybe, that'd be pretty unlucky

Now the hands I beat that might call pre and post flop:
KT, QT, JT, 99, 88, 77, or a big suited A or KJs+. The pots gotten so big that I don't want to lose the hands I beat if a scare card hits and I want a flush draw to pay. Check or shove the turn? Any bet gets me pot committed.

Check/call. You don't need to big a big pot OOP for the river, and you are highly unsure of where you are. On the bright side, any non-diamond turn is a fine card, and worst hands will be betting to drive you off...so call down. KT, QT, JT will show up a lot.

pf is ultra fine.
4betting ATo is suicide, since he folds every worse hand and calls with 70% of his better hands -> long time EV loser.

why the hell would he not?

villain almost always is crushed here or drawing to a diamond. If its the first, im putting in another bet on the turn before a bunch of scare cards can come off and he can call me again with KT/QT/JT or a 99 hand if he wants. Or diamonds. c/c is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad.

MJ, all due respect to you and your posts, since my goal in life is one day to be as sensible about this game as you are, but...

If we are highly unsure of where we stand holding TPTK, then why on earth are we in this pot to begin with? What possible better flop could we have hoped for? It seems to me that we should either be aggressive on this flop (~8k seems OK to me), or we should agree that it was a mistake to play ATo OOP. But giving a free card with a FD on the table just seems awful to me (too much experience being sucked out on???).

However, with CO calling substantial pre-flop and post-flop bets, I agree that we're done with this hand, and that the proposal to bet the turn/river seems a bit suicidal.

I see nothing wrong preflop or with the flop bet. It's so unlikely villain has a three.

hamnegger's strategy seems good to me, though it might help to know what the next two cards are. Did I miss that?

Check flop because who is going to bluff there? He's betting almost nothing that you beat on the flop if you check to him.
