Default 1/2 AJ vs pattay river decison

he's aggro, good, and a general nuisance to have at the table

so far this session he's reraised me in this spot twice, one I took down with a flop raise, the other is in the LC thread

I probably just call. I don't know this guy but my guess is he isn't going to pay off a shove with worse hands.

In the heat of the moment I probably just go "WTF?" and call. But thinking about it a second... Does any 2+2 reg play a set this slow even against another 2+2 reg? So the question is, does he donk or checkraise the turn with AK/AQ because I think those are the only hands paying you off, and maybe just AK.

Then again, sometimes people defend their blinds with suited aces so he may well have A7/A2. AK or two-pair he might slowplay hoping you'll pay him off with a weaker ace particularly if he thinks there are a lot of aces in your range given your LP PF raise.

Given who you are and who he is, I think he's likely to 3bet AK/JJ preflop, maybe 77 too. So I'm almost talking myself into thinking he has A2/A7 and you should go ahead and push.

But that's only after giving it some thought, realistically I'm probably just calling.

I like a call. I'm leery of the stop n go on the river. Take it easy there.

If you shove, worse hand folds, better hand calls. Save yourself some $$ and just call.

Minraise... either he shoves over which is what you want if he has A7/A2 or he has to make a somewhat humiliating fold (I'm a fan of these), possible tilt = wheeee.

Or he has a set and you need to add this to his bag of tricks... But it's a crappy way to play it, logic dictates you'd fire again if he checked to you on the river.
