Default 1/2 I know where the gas petal is, its the brake that is tricky

villian is sobraoboy, we don't have much for history

I raised mp1, he rr from mp3, I 4bet he just called then folded on a J93r board

only other hand we played he raised UTG, I called in the SB and c/r the flop and he folded

overall Ive been playing pretty loose 22/15 and he is on a fair amount of my tables, but I haven't been caught getting out of line pre or post really

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 8 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $219.00
BB: $49.35
UTG: $121.20
UTG+1: $317.75
MP1: $98.00
MP2: $202.00
CO: $63.65
Hero (BTN): $232.65

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (8 Players)
3 folds, MP2 raises to $8.00, CO folds, Hero raises to $24.00, 2 folds, MP2 calls $16.00

Flop: ($51) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
MP2 checks

I have pure air here, and am wondering if I should just give up on the hand and check

or stick with my normal very aggro gameplan and fire

I bet fold that flop, but i don't think it's bad for metagame to give one up once in awhile either.

Just bet although he's definitely good enough to play back I still like making it $36 on the flop.

Is he still playing as nitty as he used to?

Not a great flop to fire at, wayyyyyy too many draws etc that will take one off.

Am I the only Reg that doesn't chase draws on paired boards?

If he somehow has a draw you'll get c/r so thats not an issue. From my experience with sobrao he makes his decisions on the flop in 3bet pots.

another question, how much faith do you guys put in your gut feelings, it could be selection bias but it seems the times I don't trust that gut feeling the results are bad

I had a feeling he was going to play back at me

I'm almost always betting this flop. But if you think you have a read you can c/f.
