What happens if rakeback Affiliate disappears?

If you sign up with an affiliate to get rakeback, and then the affiliate disappears, or goes out of business, do you lose your rakeback completely or can you switch to another affiliate?

i've switched affiliates before...but it probably depends more on the network.

Many rakeback deals are also automatic so you might still get paid anyway.
