Default ken warrens guide to Omaha

Has anyone read this book?

I picked it up to browse through at a local shop and put it down immediately after reading a paragraph where he says that position is less important in omaha [....than hold em presumably]. (i think i have seen the opposite point made in other books...that position is of more importance in Omaha!)

does this book have any value with regards to teaching the basics of omaha?

Ken Warren is an idiot. LDO

At my home game, we use his book to prop up one end of the poker table. First time it was useful for anything.

Avoid anything written by Ken Warren as a rule of thumb.

Geez yes it has value. Here in canada we have all of Warrens books on the shelves at the major book chains.
Lets hope they continue to market them.
I do not want anyone picking up a 2+2 book.

This is the worst Omaha book i have ever written. I written spoken to Ray Zee if he would write a Pot Limit Omaha High book but he said it would not be profitable. I kinda disagree, Because Rolf Slotboom has the best PLO book on the market and im sure it has been somewhat profitable. Now i can only imagagine a PLO book under the 2+2 label, with all the 2+2 family and the power of the Publisher it would be even more profitable and might even create a new trend and breed of PLO players but i believe Mason wants to focus on the NL holdem craze so its not going to happen for another 3 years if he decides on it.
