Default NL25 - JJ check raise vs aggro opponent

Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

CO: $24.85
Hero (BTN): $23.45
SB: $11.05
BB: $25.45
UTG: $26.05
MP: $6.35

Pre-Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG raises to $0.85, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.75, 2 folds, UTG calls $1.90

Flop: ($5.85) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $4.15, UTG raises to $13.25, Hero ?

Not too many reads, but he does play aggressively.

According to the post on overpair of I don't know who your hand is ahead of the range of overpair + A7. I think I shove or sometimes just call to induce a turn bluff incase he is on a pure bluff, but I think here shove is better given the draw. He could have set overpair AA KK less likely a 7 a combo draw a FD a OESD and often a bluff here, so I guess you are ahead and have to stick it in.

This is pretty player dependent. Against the average unknown's range you're probably behind 65/35 give or take 5%. It's pretty close but I probably still push especially since the pot is hugggeeeee.

I shove here based on the information that he is agressive.

He cold do this w/ draws and some times w air too, since the board are good too bluff imo.

If the villain was unkown, i would folded

i think its generally pretty bad policy to b/f overpairs heads up after 3betting with them preflop, unless you have a pretty compelling reason not to. its ok to call with JJ pf if you don't enjoy that sort of variance.

i also like the 3 bet push on the flop. in my experience villain can show up with some trashy two pair hand but you would have enough outs against his range that i'm sure a shove is +ev

the fact that he raised utg doesnt account for any overpairs here?

Sure he could have QQ+ here and also possiblt sets. He also could have 88-JJ, maybe 55/66 and he could have some sort of draw.
