Is this a good spot to snow in 2-7 TD?

I think it'd be better with 8822. Given the way villain played it looks like he's on a pretty rough draw as he didnt' bet when a card ahead nor did he raise first street. Personally, since it checked through on the first street and it doesn't look like villain wants to bet aggressively, I'd try to make a hand cheaply. The pot size is small so I don't know if its worth it to try to snow.

On the other hand, this is a tournament so acquiring chips is always useful. So in the end, I am going to be wishy/washy and say I'm not sure but I think you're fine either way.

Basically the same thing as a bluff, but in draw games its typically called a snow.

To my knowledge, the term "snow" is usually only used in lowball games and means a bluff with a hand that has no hope of winning a showdown. It is most commonly done when you have seen several of the "key" cards for the game in question (i.e. deuces and/or sevens in a 2-7 game), making it unlikely that your opponent has made a hand good enough to call you with.

The canonical example comes from the original SuperSystem, where Doyle Brunson describes getting quad deuces when playing a NL 2-7 lowball (single draw) game. He bet, rapped pat, and then pushed after the draw into an opponent drawing 1, knowing the best possible hand his opponent could make is 86543.

"Snow" really means the act of standing pat with a hand that is not a good pat hand. The "bluff" part then comes next, when you bet to win the pot. Together you should technically say "I snowed and then bluffed" but saying "I snowed" implies that you bluffed on the end. To summarize, snowing refers to not drawing cards, bluffing refers to betting.
