Default Stoxpoker or Cardrunners or somewhere else?

Hello.

Apologies if this in the wrong place.

I was considering joinging one of these sites but wasnt really sure which. I think Stox is marginally cheaper but Cardrunners has a little more content from what I can gather.

I used to be a member at CR a long time ago and I thought it was decent value for money but let my membership expire a while back. Obv the price has increased a lot since, but has the content increased in the same fashion?

Im mainly interested in who has the best content for microsmall stakes to upto maybe $1/2NL 6 max, as thats what I play. All the high stakes stuff is pretty lost on me tbh.

Opinions?

Cheers.

when brian townsend was in the CR chat recently he said over 90% of CR members are 200nl and below players. I found this kinda weird because most of their cash videos from their top pros are in 5/10 and higher. I asked him what strat etc. does he think could be picked up in 5/10-25/50 videos and be applied to 200nl and below but he did not anwser. I think the videos are great on cardrunners but im sure other sites are better for lower stakes players.

CardRunners do have small stakes pros that do videos as well. Yes, it's silly to watch a Green Plastic or Townsend video and try to apply it to your 1/2 NL game. However, if you're interested in ever moving up and learning advanced concepts, then you will realize quickly the value in the high stakes videos. Some of the hand reading and analysis makes it worth watching no matter what stakes you play.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but there are no "lol secret strats" for small stakes games. Brian probably didn't answer your question because it's completely retarded.

It doesn't really matter if you can't apply to .50/1 what you learn from CTS's 25/50 video, in terms of exploiting opponents and such. What you should get from the video is his thought process on every hand, and then you can use that thought process to make your own strategy to beat your 100NL or 200NL opponents.

and you think people could formulate a better strategy to beat the game they are playing by watching videos at the stakes they are playing or watching videos at 25 times the stakes? poker is of course very situational but watching situations in videos at 200nl and taking pieces from it and trying to apply it to similiar situations at 200nl would be far more beneficial than doing the same with 5knl videos. i think it would anyway. you think otherwise?
