I hate this...you have to be kidding. Most of the time Heads up your opponent does not have a boat when the board pairs, EVEN when he raises. A str8 is often well concealed and he doesnt realize you have it, you cannot just lay it down that easy when there is a pair on board.

I play cash games, when the money is deep, the guy didn't raise you in one hour, and suddenly he moves all in, I know he has the nuts, but I can't laydown my straight. There are some really big nits out there in cash games. It is different in HUSNG's.

I think establishing Chrismystero as the most frequently busto 2+2'er of all time is extremely important. It probably deserved its own thread and should have been cross-posted across all of 2+2. Congratulations again, Chris.

MY GOALS:

1. Stop making hero calls on rivers because I overvalue "2:1." Just about everything on the river is gonna be about 2 to [censored] 1. Ironically, my ability to make hero calls is one reason why I've become a better player - because I don't cower from flops. However, I still shouldn't be making them. I could take it out of my game when it's almost logically inconceivable that I'm ahead and still not be a total pussy.

2. Stop limping on the button trying to play small ball only to fold to a 3xBB raise afterwards. Nobody plays [censored] small ball in HU. NOBODY. seeing a lot of cheap flops is just not possible. It sucks so badly because I love to play small pots, but whatever. I need to either fold or raise. I like limping on the button to mix things up. It hardly ever works - BB always raises 3x afterwards.

3. Fully understand how to maximize value at 15BB - 17BB stacks HU against loose passives who I cannot three bet PF.

4. Try to win a big MTT. A big one. Not a [censored] $10 or a [censored] 20/18man. But to [censored] pwn for a big four figure pay day.

5. To eventually get to the point where I play NL200 HU against a serious baller and learn something while getting smoked.

6. To stop cursing people out under my breath everytime they do something miserably stupid and prosper.

7. To post more in HU. It's maybe the best forum here besides the high stakes. SSMTT is becoming rubbish and I'm tired of it.

8. To three bet with air a little more.

9. Stop hating my opponent for INSISTING on playing on the BB every hand he gets. I'm close to this goal - to embracing profitability and the stupidity of my opponents with all my heart and soul.

#3 is big for me. I love donkaments but they take so much time and i always get VERY close and never win. Still that dream of hitting 200K in the sunday million keeps me coming back to them
