Default Good 21 inch monitor these days?

Im totally useless when it comes to search and didnt find any user review type stuff.

Did find the sticky in Comp Tech....but it didnt comment on them.

Anyway what are people running for 21 inch monitors these days?

Looking to get two that can run 4 games w/o overlap. Preferably under 400 each.

I know the dells used to be standard...but how are the samsungs?

Thanks,
Evan

Make sure you get at least 1600 x 1200 resolution.

I think Dell & Samsung are both held in high regard. I run 2 - 19" Samsung 204Bs and am very happy with them.

I have a Samsung 204B... it's a 20", not a 19, with a resolution of 1600x1200, full size tables with no overlap. The Samsungs blow Dell out of the water.

They may not be the best priced now, since widescreens are the topsellers, and production of the 4:3 screens have gone down. Many places don't even have them anymore.

In a widescreen you'll need a 24", which is 1920x1200 resolution, but 20, 21 and 22s that have 1680x1050 will have very little overlap, but much better pricing.

Quite right, sorry, 20". You're correct about them being harder to find...which sometimes means you can get them cheap.

The heck with a computer moniter. Get a 26"-32" Flat screen LCD TV and run it from your tower/laptop to the the T.V via VGA cable. The picture is huge. When your done playing poker, just switch it to the tube.

Ummm...yeah, except the resolution is poor. If you 4-tabled, the tables would indeed be very large, but they would overlap.

I could have aligned it a little better as well. Still an inch on the sides.
