Default Books by Neil Myers (opinions wanted)

I was looking through Barnes And Noble the other day and I noticed that Neil Myers has a new book out. It is called No Limit Hold'Em Hand By Hand. In looking on Amazon, I see he is going to have a new one out in January called Tournament Hold'Em Hand By Hand. Both have DVDs.

I was wanting to get people's opinions on his books and DVDs. Are they worth a look? Are they worth buying?

I was checking out the book myself. For those interested, here is the amazon link:
NL Hand by Hand

From what I gather, this book is geared a bit for beginners/intermediates and is designed to walk you through postflop play of the many common situations you'd encounter in low limit NL table.

I've found one review that claims the book is well written and DVD is quite good production wise.

Hand by Hand review

I may decide to pick it up just to check it out.

I might need to buy stop by my local megabookseller and flip through that.

Does the author have a Web site?

At least he's a modest and honest guy - clearly states that he is not a world champion or top high limit player but just a low limit player with lots of experience and has earned a decent supplemental income from it.

OK, I did a quick flip through at my local bookstore.

The reason I did a quick flip through is because the information in the book was very basic. Very basic. Getting Started in Hold'em basic.

This book seemed to be aimed at players with a skill level lower than that assumed in Largay's Complete Course or Sam's How to Dominate.

I put it back on the shelf rather quickly, and didn't add it to my (lengthy) Christmas list.

Speaking of Sam, how's his next book coming along? Anyone know?
