Default riv value overbet shove

villain is somewhat passive havent seen him get out of line too much. i thought his most likely hands were flushes and A5 and did not think he would raise river if i bet normally with either of those and it would be a shame not to stack him. i am repping a very narrow range and usually nobody ever beleives me.

3/6 4 handed

BTN $600
SB (Hero) $1200
BB $1200

Preflop
Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
BTN folds, Hero raises to $21, BB calls $18.

Flop A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (Pot is $42)
Hero bets $35, BB raises to $70, Hero raises to $220, BB calls.

Turn J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (Pot is $502)
Hero checks, BB checks.

River 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero shoves 2x pot?

Did he time down to 2 seconds and call? because that's what they usually do here.

i like it alot, people hate folding flushes, A5 probably looks like gold to him as well.

i'd be pretty surprised if he had a flush given he didn't bet the turn. if it's a low one that he checked for pot control reasons i'm pretty sure he'll fold to this river push. if its the nut flush then yeah you will stack him, but i'm pretty sure he just bets it on the turn.

isn't his most likely hand something like AsXo? bet $350. i think you're wrong about A5 not raising you.

mm what do you think is his river calling range for $350? i think you and i are differing in the way we think about this hand because i really dont think he calls Axo for any amount on the river and i might as well freeroll against big hands (A5, flushes). idk i might have misplayed this hand not trying to convince you that im right lol.
