Villain is 37/17/8 in only 35 hands. I dont have much of a read, but I have 3 bet him preflop before and he folded. Considering his short stack, how's my line here?

This looks fine to me. If you c-bet that flop it has to be with the intention of calling a shove.

Hand two is fine. I often do the check thing here trying to rep a really big hand with the raise on the turn.

[/ QUOTE ]

Checking behind this board texture reps a weak hand.

Yeah it does, but once you raise the turn it doesn't as much. It looks like a check to induce a bet.

Personally I would think, ok he checked behind that flop? Can't have much, ok what's change on the turn? Diamonds, ship it I'm not folding a any pair.

Cha

Hand 1 - I do just limp behind the clowns preflop. This is one of those times that doesn't look great to C-bet, but you might find yourself surprised how often it folds around when you donkishly bet 1/2 pot into multiple clowns. Yeah you might not fold out any pairs, maybe not even a 5, but you don't have to be right that often and you are more likely than not to be drawn out if you are ahead. Also, there's that once in a blue moon where you improve and stack someone.

Hand 2 - Maybe I just feel contrarian at the moment, but calling the turn is guaranteed +EV and raising isn't. You are more than a 2 to 1 dog if he has a Queen and I don't think he's folding one. You might be able to call the turn and make a sick call on the river if you don't improve.

Yea, I fold the first time and happily call the second. I don't give line by villain credit ever.
