Default What\'s the coverage like in USA?

I note in many threads here, about Parties pull out of US, that many believe the mass of American players at Party are wholly ignorant of the new legislation and that they will no longer be able to play.

As a UK based player I can't really judge the news coverage and profile of the situation in the US so am asking simply, has this been a non issue in the US media? What sort of coverage has there been? On a news sensation scale of 1-10, 1 being 2 lines in the 'other news' section of the Hoboken Gazette, and 10 being a newflash during the Superbowl, where does the story rate?

Nobody really knows much about it. I mean, some people know but not many. Most americans are too busy watching football and going to church to even realize what the [censored] is going on with small issues like this.

there was not even an article about it in my papaer in a mid sized city the day after it passed. There have been a few articles in the NY times and other major papers but not really much. CNBC probably had 15 minutes devoted to it during a magazine type show. But thats about it. So id say a 2 at most.

It's more like a 3 or 4. My mom heard the news and called me. There has been significant broadcast media coverage and a substantial minority are aware that something happened to online gambling. But most of those people have only a hazy or bogus understanding of the actual events.

What coverage?

I haven't seen one mass-media mention of it at all.
