200 Help me extract with top set oop here
I usually raise preflop, but decided to just call this time. Although I may not win much money here no matter how I play it, I still think I played the hand pretty poorly. I'm thinking bet into the lead and bet any turn when called is at least a much better line. Thoughts?

Try betting at some point in the hand as opposed to checking and/or calling. Seriously, you could bet/raise/checkraise/reraise on any street and be better off than what you did.

Re: 200 Help me extract with top set oop here
I agree completely. I think I was going for c/c c/r which seems kind of silly. No reads on villain and I have been fairly aggressive although villain hasn't been seated too long. Do people like a bet out or a c/r on the flop better?

Preflop. Id 3bet everytime.
Flop. C/C isnt horrible, but i would c/r. Wouldnt expect a call to often but atleast he is not drawing for free. Turn. As played donk out. Superdrawy board. River. As played obv valuebet |

Any reads??
I'd bet the turn for sure. Something small, like 1/2 the pot or maybe the same $16 as villian's flop bet to show weakness. But, I agree...you play the hand pretty ugly & took a risk of getting them Aces cracked by just smooth calling preflop. |

Why didn't you 3bet pf? In my experieopen open raises to 4.5x tbb usually mean an actual hand, at least to the fish making the open raise. imo this is an auto 3bet, as played, I c/r flop.

Re: 200 Help me extract with top set oop here
yea even as played we need to donk out the turn, the board is way too drawy to allow him to check behind for a free card, if he is a thinking player a donk out here looks like you are on a steal sometimes and maybe he'll reraise with air, who knows
