Annoying rivers
Homegame hand, so can't really convert it.
Villain 1 calls down with top pair all the time, when you stop betting he bets. BB = 0.10 stacks are around 15 hero UTG raise to .40 with AA villain 1 in CO calls villain 2 on button calls bb folds (we dont use a small blind because we just dont have smaller chips :s) Flop: Tc 7s 3h hero bets 1, villain 1 calls, villain 2 folds (pot is 3.30) Turn: 2c hero bets 2.5, villain calls (pot is 8.30) River: Th I'm pretty sure he's holding AT, JT, .. here. Whats my best play on the river? 1) check/fold against a big bet 2) check/call against a hopefully small bet 3) potsized bet 4) blockingbet (how much?) 5) other options? What play is the most +EV? |

Re: Annoying rivers
With that kind of read I am going with 1. It probably depends on how much you trust your read. Do you think he will fire big with JJ, QQ and maybe even worse for value?
Against this guy why not cr turn? |

Re: Annoying rivers
Thats actually a very good idea.
Most of the time online I'm playing 8 tables and don't ever think about the stack-a-donk that much anymore. I should really get it back in my game, specially in our live game. Thanks! |
