Default UCLA Students - I got a parking ticket on your campus

Hey, do any of you have experience with getting tickets reduced or tossed? I was at your school for a mock trial scrimmage and I only had $6 so I played the odds and just parked at the business school without a permit. Well, I lost and got a $45 ticket. Are they willing to reduce tickets if contested? Any help would be appreciated, because I'm pretty broke. Thanks, yo.

If you don't go there, they probably can't make you pay for it.

Actually nevermind because it's a state school.

Yes, it is unfortunate because they are real cops.

This happened to a friend of mine who was visiting UCLA from UCSB. He simply denied everything. His dad got a phone call and also denied everything. Totally got away with it.

Interesting you should bump this because the 21 days I had to pay my ticket at $45 have elapsed and I have not paid or contested it.... Here's to hoping it just disappears!

absolutely no chance. they will submit it to the dmv and they will not allow you to register your car until you pay it.

Sometimes people make jokes to make light of situations that suck.
