I think many loose players will call with a pair lower than K here.

i dont see any reason not to ck call this and induce a bluff vs trying to get value out of worse hands

But I think we see way more Kx hands than those, by a wide margin, negating the value of betting.

Ok, this is right and I am reconsidering.
Another thing to make it a check call is that we want a cheap showdown to see what this unknown player holds.

dont let things like that influence ur play that much just try to make the optimal decision based on the info u have. u ll get to see his hands often enuff when it is the right play.
