Default NL 100 my trips runs into heat.

Villain is 24/8. I figured after my turn call, his bet on the river is value for sure. Now the question is, can I beat his V-Bet range?

Well, you're better than 5 of the aces, and behind 6. He could also have an 77 potentially, although its not likely. Factor in air or a lower pocket pair into his range, I definitely think this is a call. Now, if you keep betting throughout the hand, you could easily bet/fold. Since you've checked though, I definitely call.

If he put you on an ace and could beat it, I think he'd be betting 60 or70 instead of 30. I'd call here and expect to see 99/TT/JJ here enough to make calling +EV.

With his river bet sizing he has you beat a high % of the time, but you only need to be good a small % of the time. It's close, but I call.
