Default Tactics in the rebuy

I play this tournamant in my casino. You get 500 points and the blinds start at 10/20. The action is wild and bluffing doesn't work at all. People play like maniacs and rebuy 5 times or more in the first half hour. I don't want to make more than 2 rebuy's. How would any of you play in this tournament?

I don't play rebuys, but from what I've heard you want at least 4 buy-ins. Given the action is wild, as it often is at the start of any rebuy, and your starting stack is really bad, you'll have to adjust your starting hand requirements to a point where you're still taking advantage of their willingness to gamble. With two rebuys I don't see how you can do that effectively. If I were only risking 2 rebuys, I'm taking a shot with the 1st one, going or calling AI with less than monster holdings, and tightening up a lot more on the 2nd.

Don't play if you can't afford at least 4 rebuys, I average about 3 buy ins at my local casino mtt. If you do, only raise and reraise and be willing to get it all in with premium hands and if you hit tp with AQ+ or an over pair with TT+, value bet, value bet, value bet. Call smallish raises and limp in position with connectors small pps and what not, you will get paid off when you hit. That's at least how I play during the rebuy period.
