Default Tribute to Intellivision

Similar to the Atari one, but I was more of an Intellivision guy. Unfortunately, market share was much smaller so this may go nowhere.

Awesome 12-button keypad/joystick combo with overlays for each game:

My all-time favorite game, Utopia (this screenshot doesn't do justice to all the crazy sh*t that can happen during the game):

Baseball, my favorite baseball sim until Baseball Stars for the Sega Genesis like 10 years later:

Auto Racing. I wonder if a woman is driving the green car?:

Advanced D&D:

NBA Basketball. The sweet stroke by the black player reminds me of D. Wade:

NFL Football:

Night Stalker, one of their best-selling titles:

Burgertime, this was bundled with the version console that I owned:

Bump 'N Jump...very good stress reliever, in this photo hero is actually high in the air and about to poz one of the enemy:

Horse Racing...nothing like learning how to lay an exacta when you're nine years old:

Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack...nothing like the dealer smiling at your misfortune:

Super Pro Basketball, a huge improvement over the previous version. You drafted players prior to each game:

SPB roster example...Flagpole Davis was always the best value in the draft:

Sea Battle:

Tennis...this one was lots of fun:

Tron Deadly Discs:

B-17 Bomber. This game was outstanding, eff the Axis!!!

Awesome... we had the Atari growing up, but my Mom's aunt had the Intellivision, and my brother and I would spend weekends there playing forever. Night Stalker and Burgertime ROCKED. Baseball was sweet too, even though you couldn't catch fly balls...

I remember loving AD&D and Auto Racing, but can't remember where I used to play them.

To date myself, I remember playing Tron Deadly Discs and Utopia at my buddy's place in 5th grade, listening to "We Built this City on Rock and Roll"

Piz -

In the course of doing research for my OP, I found out you can apparently d/l the games for free! Also I guess X-Box released about 60 titles on one disc some time recently.

Also, you clearly only talk trash because you know it's geographically unlikely I'll ever get the chance to own you at baseball.

Key to baseball intellivision of course was to immediatly hit ur shorstop once the pitch was thrown, then chase down the balls hit to right field. My favs are sea battle and skiing

For some reason, my parents never bought an Atari or an Intellivision. Only an Odyssey 2. But a friend of mine did have an Intellivision and I loved it. Baseball was my fave.

td,

This may sound ghey to this forum, but most games we had a "mutual non-agression" pact where we would just try to build our island better than the other guy. I.e. we wouldn't give each other rebels. To me, rebels are bad juju. If they happened on their own that was one thing, but it sucked to have a piece of premium property get replaced by a rebel.

Haha, it took me awhile to get that...the throaty robotic sounding voice they had on there. Creepy until you get used to it.
