Maybe I'm just paranoid but I have some gold coins in my house and I tend to check to make sure they are there after gatherings even though they are hidden.
I can't imagine leaving them in a car overnight.

But I'm not a balla either and I aspire to one day not give a [censored] about trivial amounts of money like this.

How [censored] happy were the thieves?? Probably expected some clothes and MAYBE electronics, instead they found 30K in pure gold and cash. Just imagine...

Make sure to tell them that the tree that landed on your car is a Ficus.
