That part in American Beauty when Annette Benning hugs Kevin Spacey's clothes gets me every time.

My girlfriend made me watch Terms of Endearment once, though. That was terribly depressing.

I don't actually think "The Namesake" was that sad of an ending. Good film, and certainly got a little dusty in the theatre at times(and who knew that Kal Penn could like act and stuff?)

The Sweet Hereafter gets my vote

I thought then ending of Castaway was about the saddest thing I've ever seen.

I usually dont like to criticize people's tastes/feelings about things, but this was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I feel kinda bad when I watch a $hi ty movie, but I was pissed when I finished this one. Its just so bad, I cant believe it was released.

Considering almost everyone disagrees with you, it should be pretty easy to see how it got released. Anyways, this was the first movie that jumped into my head, everyone's life is [censored] by the end of the movie.
