Default stupid preflop spot

it's 3/6 but i'm sure you all are perfectly capable of providing good feedback.

about two orbits in, i've been quiet so far except a few raises that took it down pre or on the flop. CO is 37/6 over a few hundred hands that poker ace prefetched from the table, so he's been sitting for a while. he's been limping a lot without much regard to position/limpers up front/aggressive players left to act, so i assume he's just playing his own cards. no reads on his postflop play, yet.

i have $635, he covers.

he openlimps CO, i raise A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] to $27, blinds fold, he makes it $90.

wtf? how much different is this when holding TT-QQ or AK? i really could not remember the last time this happened to me...

I usually fold here since I'm not really happy getting my stack in postflop unless I hit 2pr+

I've been seeing this a lot lately, kinda funny. I usually fold the first time with a hand like this and adjust if he keeps it up.

With hands like TT-QQ, I'm calling because these hands should be easier to play compared to AQ.

That table was funny btw.

I assume you've been isolating a lot? It looks like he got tricky with a monster and as another poster said, you cant be comfortable putting any more money in unless you hit 2pr...although I don't think somebody that is this passive preflop is doing this with AK.

Still, its definitely a fold this time around.

I usually fold unless he's less than 50bb then I wouldn't mind just putting him AI pre.

I fold big aces here as a default as I don't see his range extending much below QQ without significant history.

While I'd love to have somthing more insightful to say, I'd also call pretty much any PP here as you certainly have odds to setmine.

I feel like captain obvious but those are my thoughts.
