ofc he is way more likely to raise 22 or 87s than he is to raise K5s

that being said, playing around in pokerstove is the way to go, just add hands until you get to 30%

22+,A2s+,K9s+,Q9s+,J8s+,T8s+,97s+,86s+,75s+,65s,54 s,A8o+,K9o+,QTo+,JTo,T9o,98o,87o

this is exactly 30% and seems pretty reasonable

I play like 24/20 and I can assure you that range is wayyy to narrow for my button...VPIP is not what you should be looking at.

Well good players UTG range is way different than their button range...roughly like 2x the UTG...and that's taking into consideration the times someone opens up in early position and you have to fold. The Attempt to Steal is going to be way wider than tha VPIP...I think a 30% VPIP guy will opening up at least 40% from the button/CO if he's even slightly postionally aware.

Sort of related - would you think a 60+/20ish has a range that is altered much by position for PFR? I say probably not - the 20ish PFR is 20ish pretty consistently from any posistion unless proven otherwise. Bad assumption?

Really opponent dependent, but most of the time no they don't know that position exists.
