how did i play the turn badly? i have 2 decisions:

check or shove: i think there is a greater chance he checks behind than he folds to a shove, so i check. edit: that is not correct logic, but i basically thought there is no way he is ever folding, so i might as well check and hope he checks behind.

call his shove: if i am losing EV i think it's not much at all.

please lucid explain what i have done so badly as i genuinely cant see it. i'm not saying i haven't played it really badly, just i can't see how it's that bad given the alternatives.

You don't have odds when all your flush outs are live. What about the times you are dead to an overflush full house?

ur presumably getting 3:1 on a 4:1 draw assuming your not toast already. even considering that if ur gonna call when he shoves then shoving urself is infinitely better.

gonna go throw up now.

krishan i need to be 23% or better (edit i may be wrong)

i'm 21% against:
22, 88+, any 8 with 6 kicker of better, and AcXc and QcKc.

i think that's his range as best as it could be vs my holdings, so i think the call is okay.

lucid, i do not see why shoving $231 on the tun has any fold equity. i think i might as well have a chance of him checking behind (okay he will rarely do this) and then i can check-fold river if i miss.

arturius, when my sample size is significant, hopefully ill surprise you but maybe i wont

lmao you've got NOTHING and you

1) 4bet the flop trying to rep something that villain has
2) then called his shove on the turn when you've definitely got absolutely nothing

Then you're trying to justify it with the odds talk. Sure, it's not a huge huge amount to call shove, but your money should never have been in on the flop in the first place, and now that turn's not a card you wanted, to continue in the hand is giving money away. Not only that, but your posted hand is probably made up, villain really butchered it as well which is totally bizarre.

My guess is, given your other posts as well, you are a play money or 0.01/0.02 player and made this hand look like 3/6.

ah whoops lucid i think you are saying that if i call on flop and then call his shove on turn i should shove flop. i completely agree, i mentioned this in an earlier post above.

maybe the flop call does suck a bit. i was under time pressure and i didnt think it was too bad plus image as well.

I push over the flop 4-bet. Unless I am happy to do that I wouldn't make the three bet in the first place. Cawl his min raise if you are not comfortable pushing over his 4-bet.

Push over his 4 bet? On the flop? He has 8x or better almost always, the times he doesn't he has better clubs, and we have no FE. We'd be pushing for what reason exactly?

Disagree in a huge way. We have FE here, he does not have 8 or better almost always. Not even close. This is exactly the kind of board some people will get into pissing contests on. Bigger clubs is a worry though.

My point though, was that I would only make this 3-bet if I thought villain is the kind that will happily put me on yeti and bluff 4-bet. I call the flop min raise against most opponents.
