Guys,

if the river is a non-pairing diamond, can we just muck our hand?

Thats what I was wondering. If it goes bet/call on the river, can we fold?
What about bet/raise, easy fold?

I dunno, if the game is really aggro and unless Helpmewinn has a totally unrestricted opening range, I don't see why you shouldn't err on the side of capping.

I think it is a +EV play to cap the turn. In that short handed game I have seen people put in the maximum here with as little as a pair and a st8 draw. Raiser could easily have lower set or two pair. Additionally he could have big draw like flush and st8 draw. I think we can easily put the caller on a diamond draw. There is only one combo here that you have to worry about. I would certainly put more action in on the turn. Additionally, the raiser could be making a move to force you off your hand... like an overpair as well. All in all, I think raising is the best play.
