2/4, 3handed, KK on a monotone board.
BB is a semi-regular MT TAG. I played a session with him at 600NL when he was like 25/17, and a session at 400NL, when he played 22/8. He recently sat down and no dynamics has developed so far.
Effective stacks 400. Overbet flop was an accident. Preflop: I raise OTB with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] to 11, SB folds, BB calls. Flop(25): J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB checks, I bet 33, BB calls. Turn(91): 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] BB bets 40, I raise to 140, BB pushes AI, I? It's about 200 more to call, so I get odds against anything but a flush. His turn lead followed by a 3bet was quite strange, and I am not sure what range he has here. Ok, questions: Would you raise turn lead? Call/fold turn 3-bet? |

Re: 2/4, 3handed, KK on a monotone board.
Whats up with that tiny preflop raise? I hate that.
I think I just call his strange turn bet the first time, there is no reason to be very excited about our hand here. As played, tough decision, I probably call. |

i hate bet sizing PF and Flop and I just call the turn, as played I would prob call but not be happy at all about it

Re: 2/4, 3handed, KK on a monotone board.
Well, I always raise a bit smaller than 3BB, it changes dynamics a bit, but I don't see a problem with it.
Overbet on flop was an accident, normally I would bet 22 there, probably I just bet it as I would bet in 600NL, where 33 is a bit-under pot sized bet. |

I'd just call the turn lead. ship it now.

Re: 2/4, 3handed, KK on a monotone board.
Hmmm...am I too nitty here if I fold in this spot? I routinely find a fold here depending on my history with villain. If if was A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] then it's a shove.
As played I hated every street. With the tiny raise preflop villain could have anything including Q9 or 108. I'll prolly fold. |
