With over 4 million on the tough table as Negreanu described, it's easy to assume no big pots would have happened. I mean who wants to risk half a million dollars on one hand ? Probably not a lot of the guys. Less money on the table = way more action + way more fun to watch.

Good point. Maybe they should limit the buyin in HSP4 to around 200-300k.

[/ QUOTE ]

They should change it to straight 500-1000nl and make it a 100k max buyin

300/600 is okay because they have antes, and that pushes the action more. A 100k min & max buy-in would be nice. That'd make for a lot more big pots.

But then the guy that wasn't on Welcome Back Cotter doesn't get to say "and X is sitting with an incredible one MILLLLLLLION dollars!," and then nobody wins.

because he's daniel, probably the biggest personality in poker that is even somewhat likeable (to some people).

except scotty nguyen of course.

edit: therefore, they want him back.

I was wondering how DN could get away with it as well.

I was caurious about the deal the players signed. Maybe it was something as little as if the players told everyone what happened they wouldn't get their 1200 an hour or whatever it was.

If that was the case then I think DN thought it was worth more to tell everyone by generating more publicity to his site than get 1200/hr.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wouldn't be suprised if DN didn't sign a nondisclosure agreemetn but the show decided to take him anyway because he has a big name.

[/ QUOTE ]

Id wouldnt be suprised if they didnt consider his blog a form of publicity.
