Default WCOOP events need to be shallower or take two days.

If there is another thread about this I couldn't find it and if there is dicussion in general threads, I think it makes sense to put all the discussion regarding this specifically in on thread.
It is ridiculous how long these events are taking. When I woke up this morning the WCOOP event was still going. The tourney took around 18 hours with the longest break being 30 mins. They need to either make the structure shallower or create longer breaks to prevent these marathons.

1. While a deeper structure increases your edge this is so deep that it probably ends up hurting your hourly. Playing 8 hours to lose money or double your money is something that happens in no other online tournaments and your roi can only increase by so much. These wcoop events take almost twice as long as a normal tourney with the same entrants, yet it is very unlikely your ROI doubles.

2. People will argue that two day events will decrease people who play in them if they have commitments the next day, but by the time people make it to day two they will be deep enough that they will play. Also if someone had a job which required them to work Monday, I'm not so sure they would be going after staying up till 8 am to come 26th in a tournament.
I really like the deep structures, but there has to be some compromise between the shovefest which is the Million and the marathons that this WCOOP has produces.

There have been more threads on this topic than I have fingers. They've heard the complaints and I highly doubt they're going to change it.

Hopefully next year.

all you people wake up so early. It takes all my strength and effort just to wake up by the time the WCOOP event of the day starts

There is another thread... go find it. Search WCOOP and length or something like that.
