I am not into politics that much so i cant answer that question. All i know is that it probably doesnt matter what the opposition does in the next election because there is no way the right wing will be re-elected.

It depends but between 1-2k$ would get you a decent living.

Cost of living depends greatly upon where in the country you live. Small town/bigger city, northern/central/southern part etc.

But for a single person household, monthly rent should be anywhere from $350 to $800, most commonly in the lower range. Food...well, you can manage with $200 for food each month, but I'd guesstimate that I spend around $400. It depends on how much you eat out, of course.

Add to that $50-$150 for teh internets, public transportation, water, electricity and perhaps a home phone. Oh, and home insurance.

$800 for an apartment: crappy 1-roomer in Stockholm, 50% chance of rats

Well, I pay around $550 for my small flat in Stockholm, which I happen to like. I don't think most singles under the age of 30 really crave that much more. Could be a bit more downtown, and that's it.

As for $350, I know people who pay even less, for decent flats in medium sized towns. $500 could get you a mansion there.
