premier issue just hit stands, and I happened to stumble across it at the bookstore today. looks good from what i've read, lots of in-depth articles, lists, and so on...

Performify wrote the article, 'MMA Wagering Explained', which is apparently a continuing column as a regular contributer...

Congrats Performify! I've been trying to get into MMA lately and basically have just been listening to everything you say. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Is the magazine widely distributed? I'd like to pick up a copy. Is it at 7-11? Supermarkets? Or maybe Borders? OP, where did you see it?

yeah, i got mine at borders, and i've already sent in the card and a check to get a subscription...looks like right now it's just bi-monthly...hopefully with some interest, it'll go monthly, because it's a pretty good magazine...

perf...they gonna let you get a little more indepth as we go?? this article was fairly newbish, and i assume that's what they wanted at first?

also, the '5 most deadly weapons in mma' article is awesome...

also, it got me pumped to see brock lesnar, i don't know how he'd do against strikers (lol at them putting him in the list of those that 'could' beat fedor), but i'd be interested to see...

Yeah, I had to build a base for people to start from. I handed a couple columns already, they start getting deeper pretty quickly. Next month talks quite a bit about some specific factors I look at handicapping matches.

We'll have the first article up on our site sometime soon, maybe this weekend. We've been saving it to have something in reserve for a lull in the news to post it and so far things have been flowing decently well.
