NL 200 JJ as an overpair on turn.
What would be the best action on the turn? Villain is fairly aggressive but not maniac.

Repop pf, as played i am leading turn folding to a reraise.Reraising agressive players pf is a good play to add to your arsenal

In this case CO folded on the flop and I was left against aggressive BB. What makes this hand difficult in my mind is the fact that BB was willing to call my fairly big bet on the flop when the original pf-raiser was yet to act. |

Re: NL 200 JJ as an overpair on turn.
Something isn't right when you lead the flop with an overpair on a good board, and then get totally confused on a blankish turn.
Why were you leading the flop? Just to fold out hands that are drawing very thin vs your hand? |

check-raise. [/ QUOTE ] Why would I consider check raise? It is likely that I am way ahead or way behind. No hand that I am behind will fold to my check raise and many hands that I have beat won't even bet on that turn. |

Just to fold out hands that are drawing very thin vs your hand? [/ QUOTE ] I bet the flop due to the original raiser (CO). If he has QQ or better I will know it very quickly and I can fold my hand. It is unlikely that he would bet with two overcards (where check-raise would be the right move) and I hate to give free cards with just JJ and 2 opponents. When the BB calls my pot-sized bet I think I can narrow his range pretty much: A6, 66, 99, 78, TT, 88, 77 and weak 9's are the most likely hands. The turn card was far away from being a blank if my hand reading was right. |

i would rr pf to about $20-24...
if played like above, i would bet pot size on turn and fold to raise... if villain calls, check river and evaluate his bet. |

I fully agree with this line. However I am not so sure about the amount I should bet. I am already thinking about the river bets if I am called and I would rather keep the pot as small as possible. |
