AJs OOP, what line do I take?
5-max 1/2.
I just sat down at the table and played around 10 hands, and repopped twice preflop with good hands. I was thinking about reraising preflop here, but chose not to since I done it twice in the last 10 hands. Hero is dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in BB. Preflop: CO rasises 7, Button calls. Hero calls in BB. Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets 11. Hero calls, Button calls. Turn: 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks, CO checks, Button checks. River: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (Pot= 54) Hero bets 30, CO raises 126, Button folds. I folded on the river, would anybody call this? But my main question is, how do you like my flop and turn line? If I c/r flop I think the problem is that if called, Im almost def behind, so therefore I chose to call. |

Re: AJs OOP, what line do I take?
Standard. Raising the flop is bad for the reason you stated. Also it's a very dry board so no reson to protect your hand really.
I would problaby bet/fold turn but check is fine too. Readless I fold river. |

What about leading flop? If so, why? Is c/c better?

I would still have repopped preflop, I think your active image is a reason for, not against 3betting with AJs.
As played- I just lead the flop and take control of betting. |

I'd still 3 bet here. As played, I think your line is fine.
