NL 50: C/R the turn against a possible floater
I've been whiffing a lot of flops with AK, AQ, AJ, etc lately (running kind of crappy), and it seems like my c-bets are getting no respect (ain't that always the way). After one guy limp-calls, then calls your c-bet, and takes it away on the turn or river(in or out of position), it seems like everybody wants to get a shot at you. So I did this to take advantage of that. No reads on villain, but I had been fairly aggressive, and had been floated a couple times so far. C/R the turn here good or should I just lead out?

i'd say 24 is sufficient because about 0 percent of hands are calling that big of a reraise that you beat, unless ak feels lucky

Re: NL 50: C/R the turn against a possible floater
that's not a good flop to float if i was villain. He's calling the flop b/c he actually has something, not b/c he's just trying to take it away on the turn.
A better flop to make this play is probably something like K 8 3, or 5 8 9. |
