NL50: Checking behind on the river with a good hand

Villain has stolen from me a couple of times when he was on the button but we haven't really mixed it up much. At the time I thought checking behind was safe b/c I wouldn't know how to react to a c/r. Since it was an unraised pot, I couldn't take a better seven or a boat out of his range. Looking back, I feel like this is too nitty. Is this an easy river bet?

yes you have to bet this, if you are check raised (which will happen an extremely small % of the time imo) then you can call/fold but it is player dependent
